M2 HSS plane iron for No 4, 5 planes
Hi, selling my plane iron and chipbreaker, fits my 4 and 5 stanley for fine cut, years ago forum member took orders and delivered these hard HSS irons,width 40mm , 3mm thick,with chipbreaker to suit , very good condition, $40 plus postage, RossIMG_4834.jpg

It is either a "4" or a "5" it won't fit both

Not sure that that is correct China, my 4 and 5 Stanley blades are certainly interchangeable

Yeah, 4 and 5 are definitely the same width; should be 2" (51mm) though, not 40mm.
