    Default Makita LS1214 SCMS

    Selling my 12” Makita LS1214 sliding compound mitre saw (made in Japan). This is a high quality saw, it has a huge cutting surface and is very smooth to use. I’ve hardly used it and it’s in excellent condition. It’s been sitting on the workshop floor for the past few years collecting dust, so I’ve decided to let it go.

    From memory these saws sold for between $950 and $1050 as they were one of the top of the line SCMS on the market. I purchased it new and have only used it for the odd cut here and there. I’ll post photos when I get a chance to get in the workshop (hopefully in the next day).

    I’m asking $500. Pick up from the lower blue mountains NSW.

    That's an excellent saw. I used the 10" version and was very impressed with both the build quality and the accuracy of the cut. They don't sell Japanese made Makita that much anymore. So $500 is definitely a great buy.
