    Default Marking gauges (SOLD)

These gauges are made from scraps of suitable woods left over from other jobs, so the sizes vary a little depending on what material was available, but they fall into 3 general sizes: “full size” gauges have stocks approximately 65mm wide x 55-mm high x 28-32mm thick, and beams 18mm diameter, “mediums” have approximately 55-60w x 45-50h x 25mm thick with 16mm diameter beams (similar in size to the common old Marples, Stanleys etc. wooden gauges), while “small” has a stock 45w x 40h x 20mm thick with a beam 12mm diameter. What a surprise, they're all gone! Lovely work as usual Ian, I'm sure the new owners will be very pleased with their purchases.

Agreed Vaillant, I was very impressed with the material, weight, overall quality of finish.

Now keeping an eye out for any saws made by Ian to ever hit the market
