Maru-Nomi or Sotomaru nomi Japanese Chisel
I bought this chisel a long time ago at a market and thought that I would use it.
It has been on my chisel rack ever since and I have used it once - probably not as the traditional Japanese carpenters intended
Anyway it is for sale to you if you can use it.
It has a beautifully rounded back and a lovely laminated blade.
I am amazed at the precision that has been shown by the smith in forging this.
It is embossed with the blacksmith's mark.
