Minimax FS 30 jointer / thicknesser

Advertising for a friend who lives in Graceville, Brisbane. Older model Minimax FS 30 combo Jointer Thicknesser in good used condition. 300mm width capacity 1.5m long jointer tables. 240v 2.5hp motor. Straight knife cutterhead. Might suit someone looking to upgrade to a bigger jointer or someone wanting to upgrade from Asian made to European machinery.

Runs well and comes with a spare set of blades. It is worth mentioning that the previous owner put a new generic mutton chop gaurd on it, but the return spring doesn’t work, so new owner would have to source a new spring. Also, the metal clip that holds the swing over dust collection hood in place when in thicknessing mode has been replaced with a home fabricated clip.

A lot of bang for your buck here. Priced to sell at $1500. Pick up from Graceville. I may be able to assist my friend with loading this onto your ute or trailer with my high lift pallet jack, or (if need be) deliver locally for a fee, if machine has already been inspected and paid for (although local pick up would be preferred). Preference given to a buyer who can collect (or take delivery of) this machine in the next 7 days.

Hi Sourkranksts, thanks for your enquiry. The planer is still available, but due to some building work that is going on, won’t be accessible until around mid-September.
