    Default Paul Call table saw - a piece of Aussie history!

    For saleis a piece of Aussie history, an iconic Paul Call table saw, made right hereDown Under. This is a good little starter saw. It's done a heap of work overit's time, although honestly not a lot since I acquired it. It's a typical sawfrom the 70's era that it comes from, in that it is a 10" saw with atilting table, not tilting arbor. The cast iron table top is probably a little neglectedat the moment after having been stored under my verandah but is in great nickreally, it just needs some TLC to remove the fine surface oxidisation. The motor is a
    GMFCadet
    3/4hp 5.3A
    (also Aussie made) and runs at 1425rpm.


    Please note, the mitre gauge does not have any mounting hardware tomount it to the mitre bar, you'll need to explore that yourself (I have no idea what thread may be required). I'd alsostrongly recommend that whoever buys this gets an electrician to overhaul thewiring and replace the switch for completeness - I've not seen any issue or hadany reason for concern there, I think that a switch upgrade would be agood step.

    Paul Call saw has moved on to it's next caretaker, after a short stint on Gumtree.
