This square chisel mortiser has had very, very little work. Drills square holes in timber utilising the infinitely adjustable & smooth a & b axis bed. This machine is highly accurate and extremely well made & solid. All parts and accessories including chuck key, wrench collars and manual are included. I built a mobile base which is also included in the package.

Powermatic is a high end USA brand and this unit was manufactured in Taiwan. The motor is 1hp and only needs a normal, 10 am socket for power. What you see in the photos is exactly what is included in the sale.

Identical to the Jet equivalent, this comes with 10 new mortising chisels and bits in the following sizes… 3/8” x 3/8” (5 off), ¼” x ¼” (2 off) and ¾” x ¾”, 5/8” x 5/8” and ½” x ½”.
Due to lack of use I simply don’t need it any longer gathering dust and taking up space. Don't confuse this machine with the cheap Chinese style hollow chisel mortisers. This machine currently retains in the US for $1700 USD which is $2600 AUD. Due to weight and bulk, local pick up only from Newlands Arm in East Gippsland, Victoria. Asking price is $1350.
