Default Router Lift, Lge C/Iron Table, H/D Stand on Wheels, Triton Router + Loads Router Bits

Complete Package - Router Lift, Large Cast Iron Table, Heavy Duty Stand on Wheels, Triton Router + Loads of Router Bits!

Hi all, I recently upgraded to a round body router lift, but found it didn't fit in the cast iron router table I have, so I'm selling the entire lot as a package as I'll have to build a new table for the new lift. I'll consider breaking it up if there's no reasonable interest, but as it's a lot of items my preference is to sell as one lot. Condition is excellent, it's been very well looked after (and barely used by me).

    ROUTER TABLE (dog not included!):

UJK Professional Cast Iron Router Table Top | Axminster Tools International

This is the heavy duty larger cast iron top and is around $600, measures 815mm x 610mm x 40mm, takes a Euro size router plate, mounting hole is 305mm x 230mm. The newer ones Timbecon sells are 298mm x 235mm.

As seen I have also machined a couple of grooves in it to accept my Woodpeckers Fence (which I'm keeping), the groove centres are 430mm. I do have a crappy but functional home made fence I can throw in.

    ROUTER LIFT:

UJK Router Elevator | Axminster Tools International

As mentioned this is the Euro sized router lift and is in excellent condition, these are around $550, it has very smooth movement. It has the 38mm Insert Ring and the Spanner for it, and the Hex Height Adjustment Handle. It also has the Unversal Mounting Plate to fit practically every router on the market.

    Hitachi TR12 1/2" ROUTER:

These need no introduction, as I'm sure everyone knows these tried and trusted workhorse routers, built to last forever and still go second hand for up to $250 or so!

It's in excellent condition, with all the attachments, including the Under Table Height Adjustment which alone are around $90:

Hitachi 318304 Height Adjust Router Knob M12V: Amazon.com.au: Home Improvement

The spanners are missing as I never actually used this router when I got it, and I don't think I got it with the spanners, but they're a standard size, I may have a couple to fit I can supply if I look around.

    HEAVY DUTY STAND ON WHEELS:

This stand is really substantial and very well made! It weighs quite a bit on it's own as it was made for a much heavier machine, and has heavy duty locking wheels to make it extremely useful to manouveur around inbetween use. The stand was originally around the $750 mark, and is made from 1/4" to 3/8" thick steel, the base outside measurements are 670mm x 560mm, the top plate measurements are 640mm x 610mm. It's hard to see from the pic but the back and sides are straight 90 degrees, while the front slopes out to the base to give a better foot print to avoid tilting. If you wanted to put the cast iron top on a new stand or cupboard, you'd be able to simply sell this stand!

    ROUTER BITS:

Included are around 40 or so 1/4" and 1/2" router bits in HSS and Carbide tipped, I think most are used, some are new, there's a large Festo carbide tipped Ogee bit there that's about $60 on it's own. Also included is a 1/2" to 1/4" adaptor, and a diamond router bit sharpener. I may have some router bits to throw in when I can sort them.

This is a massive investment for me, but I'd like $750 all up for the entire lot which I think is more than fair given the sheer amount and value. Pickup from Mulgrave area, or Hawthorn depending on the day.

For those also in metal working, I'll have a 350mm Brobo Aluminium (nonferrous) 3PH saw on a heavy duty stand with wheels coming up (along with a new single phase 2HP motor I planned to convert it with) once I can dig it out.

Bargain, somebody buy it quick. The bits alone are over a grand worth.

I'll definitely have to find more router bits to throw in now! ;-)

Hey, I'm possibly interested. How much would it be for the whole setup without the router?

I assume strapping it to a small palley and posting (without the stand) is probably out of the question?

Hi Chris, at this early stage I'd really prefer to sell as a lot, so I'll wait a bit longer and see how it goes before deciding to break it up.

    cheers, Ian

As much as I'd like to retain the stand as it's a ripper one, I've already moved on and have another stand ready for the new cast iron top I'll be buying, so this one would really be in my way (as it is now!).

These things are also very heavy, I don't know it would be economical to ship.

My one's in great condition, but even ones like this that are rusty and very used & abused still sell for a very good amount:

Hitachi TR-12 Plunge Router - Good cond. - Pick up only from Safety Bay WA 6169 | eBay

Note all the corrosion on the aluminium parts (which really takes abuse to occur), unless it's paint splatter.

No problem, I think FlaminGunz will be picking it up this weekend hopefully, but I'll let you know if it falls through for any reason.

I've also found some more carbide router cutters tonight I can spare I'm throwing in with the others, and the two collet spanners have been located!
