Mick
Just move the Incra Router table a bit closer to the back wall and this SCM saw will fit perfectly.

Yep its a steal!!
I bought a 1983 model off Ebay. Had to drive 400Km to pick it up. When I got it home and set it up I checked it for cutting square and ....it was spot on. I had used these saws when I was employed and knew they are a rugged machine. They are built solidly and very well. Someone will get a great saw with this dealJust do it!
Kind regards Rod

Strictly speaking, elderwood is the only valid buyer, per the Marketplace rules which are very clearly at the top of the page.
All correspondence between Buyers and Sellers is to be done in the thread, NOT by PM.PMs' and Emails are ONLY to be used for exchanging personal contact information and only when the deal has been done between buyer and seller.
If you want to buy the item enter "I'll take it" if you need more info ask for more info in the thread not via PM.
Obviously I doubt you'll cancel whoever you dealt with in private, but if you aren't going to stick to the rules, don't sell it here.

I PM'd him to get contact details to arrange an inspection. No sly undercutting deals are at work here. I don't believe I have done anything wrong, no need to come in all guns blazing, it's a woodworking forum not the house of Parliament.

Hi Elan,
Why are people so cruel!!
Read this a couple of times so you can comprehend and then maybe tell me what you think.
Shyrat lives in Melbourne and is a long time Forum member.
Shyrat sees the SMC post on the forum.
Shyrat has a good mate who lives in Wollongong.
Shyrat rings his mate in Woillongong and tells him about the post on the Forum.
His mate has never heard of the forum.
His mate immediately joins and calls himself Elderwood 86.
Eldeewood86 posts his interest....so that puts him in the queue.
Elderwood86 then says he has sent a PM.
The Forum moderators automatically delay new members activities.
Ruddy does not receive a PM from Elderwood86.
Ruddy probably wont get the PM for another couple of days.
Shyrat sends ruddy a PM and tells him about his mate and gives ruddy contact details.
Ruddy telephones elderwood86 and tells him where he can see the machine.
Ruddy gets blasted by Elanjacobs for breaking Forum rules.
Elanjacobs says Obviously I doubt you'll cancel whoever you dealt with in private, but if you aren't going to stick to the rules, don't sell it here.
Elanjacobs may choose to apologise after removing the omelette from the bottom lip!
Fools rush in etc....
Rant over
The stuff you have purchased will be posted on Monday. And my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

My bad.
I saw someone (who did not post the original listing) calling it sold to someone called Ian who had not previously been identified anywhere in the thread, then apologising to someone called elderwood (who replied in the thread) after calling it sold to Ian (who does not appear anywhere)
I hope this makes it clear where I was coming from.
I'll see myself out.
