SCM (MiniMax) SC 2
Hi all, I am selling my SCM SC2 sliding saw. Before publishing on less reputable marketplace sites, I wanted to give the forum community the first opportunity.
The saw is only a few years old and has seen very little use. I am selling to put the money into another hobby as I find myself using more hand tools. It is in amazing condition and could be sold in as new condition. It is the current model and specification (see link below) but without the 2019+ massive quality control issues.
The unit runs off a standard 10amp plug (single-phase) so is suitable for most workshops. It includes all the relevant instructions/paperwork. I will include the Festool systainer that holds all the bits and pieces. I can also include the base if you are paying full tote odds! It is easy to take apart and transport. I can lift it onto an open trailer or low Ute tray with a block and tackle from the roof. Otherwise it can be rolled out to a truck if you can get it on.
If you are lucky enough to get one, these are now selling for $8,651 (inc GST). I am happy to let it go for somewhere around $6200.
If you’re locked down – I hope you are doing ok and getting a bit of shed time 😊.

Isn't that a 15A socket on the side for the power lead?

I wouldn't mind having a look. I'm not sure it's allowed until after Tuesday. Where about are you?
regards
Paul.

Arbor size
Hello Deeski,
What is the arbor size on this machine? Can table saw blades be used there or only ones with slots (like Felder)?
Could not find any info on scm site.
Thank you
