Sherwood (Timbcon) 14" Bandsaw Model TBB-14
Along with the Sander in my previous post, this trusty 14" Bandsaw is going out the door to make room for a bigger bandsaw.
It has been in my workshop for about 10 years, has been only lightly used and is in excellent condition.
It's uses have been varied, from cutting circle blanks for wood turning to re sawing to save wood from thicker than wanted boards.
I have recently changed the bearings on the upper and lower blade guides but it has otherwise required no maintenance or repairs.
I am moving to cut veneers and this machine is not quite up to that job, but is otherwise a reliable and versatile machine.
Little has changed in the design of these 14" bandsaws over many years; they come in a large number of brand names and the modern offerings by Carbatec, Hare and Forbes etc are almost identical.
The saw comes with an after-market mobile base and a number of blades including a couple of narrow unused blades for circle and curve cutting.
Price is $400, less than half current new price.

Although I have been a member of this forum since 2003 I seldom visit and haven't looked at the Market Place before...some friends suggested I use it when I said that I had some items for sale.
I'm pleased and surprised that the bandsaw would sell inside 24 hrs.
