Sliding Table Saw
For sale is a sliding table saw used in my school workshop for the last 8-9 years. What is in the photos is what's included.
- A variety of accessories
- 2x 48t blades
- 1x 24t flat top blade
- No dust/blade guard.
- 15A plug
The fence can sometimes need aligning. It's mostly disassembled and on a pallet ready to go. Located in Taylors Hill, 3037. $1350 open to offers. Happy for you to inspect.IMG_4119.jpgIMG_4160.jpgIMG_4122.jpgIMG_4121.jpgIMG_4120.jpgIMG_4117.jpgIMG_4116.jpg

This saw has a scribing blade?
Which is operating ok?
I don’t need it and I am in Sydney but this is a steal.

Yes, there’s a brand new scribing blade still in the bag. I’m assuming it works but I’ve never used that feature of the saw.

Hang in there Lewis, it's excellent value. You need to remember it's a long weekend for Melbournites (the first one in a long time ) and a large proportion of the population has escaped the city. I'd be very surprised if you can't sell the saw here, would love it myself if I had the room.

Sliding table saw
I am very interested as an ex woodwork teacher.
Would you remember the footprint on the saw and the over foot print including the sliding table. I am trying to figure if I can fit it in my workshop.
also you say there is no guard but there does seem to be one in a photo you posted.
Could you help if I can organise shipping to NSW. Have you got access to a forklift as I imagine the pallet would need to be lifted onto a truck or trailer.
cheers

Hi Brett. I forgot to measure things but the closest I can find is this W700 - PS-1810 Panel Saw | Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse from Hare and Forbes. H&F specs are:
I replaced the guard with the floating Sawstop guard a few years ago and that is now on our new Sawstop so it's not included. It had a guard like the one from H&F and it disappeared not long after the replacement.Floor Space Required (W x D x H) 2830 x 3960 x 1160
I have a manual pallet jack but no forklift. I'd prefer a local sale as I think it should be inspected (being a 2nd hand saw) but if you want to buy unseen, I can be ok with that.
EDIT*
I think it's actually closer to this model from LEDA 1600mm Sliding Table Panel Saw Australia
ANOTHER EDIT*
If you type the model number into google, this is the first hit 12" Heavy Duty Woodworking Sliding Table Saw MJ2330E-Qingdao G&G Machinery Co., Ltd

From the original post there is this diagram which shows the footprint needed.

Hi Lewis,
Is this still available?
If so, would you take $1100? I would purchase it at that price.
I would have a bit of a trip from North West Victoria and a lot of explaining to do with the missus... But it would be worth it
Thanks,
Matt

Thanks Lewis,
I sent you a PM. Not sure if it went through as there is nothing in my sent messages folder.
Being a new member my privileges on the board are a bit restricted. Let me know if I should resend.
