    Default Stanley 289 Fillester plane **Rare**

    Very hard to find Stanley 289 fillester (rebate) plane. Often described as one of the best planes Stanley ever made. This is in great condition with all parts. Asking $280. Pick up from Ascot or post at buyers expense.

    Bump. Any interest before heading off to eBay?
    To my knowledge these are a pretty rare plane and by all accounts one of the best Stanley made given the skewed cutter for cutting rebates both with and across the grain.
