    Default Stanley 80 cabinet scraper IOB

    1st offering for my long-delayed plane cull…..

    Here is a practically brand-new 40-year old cabinet scraper in original box with original instructions. It has only been used as a demo tool; less than 100 strokes on the blade

    The straight edge of the blade has been sharpened and given a light burr, the photo below shows the shavings from red gum (please note the board was initially belt sanded; the shavings are from the end of the board nearest the camera and you can see that part of the board is silky smooth).

    Kunz still make this model but in green with a rougher bottom, a softer blade and a ~$90 price tag. This can be yours for $110 plus postage; earliest I can get it in the post will be next Monday. It will be spotlessly cleaned and cosseted in the finest bubble wrap…
