Stubby Lathe and Extras
I am listing these items of behalf of someone I know that needs help with the selling of these tools and a number of others. If there are any questions about the tools, ask me. If you want to arrange a time to see the tools contact Helen on 5383 6278. Located in Wartook (near Horsham VIC).
This sale is a package and will not be split. It includes all you can see on the wall including all the turning tools and Wet Grinder.
Lathe details: Omega Stubby S7500. It is an excellent Australian made lathe. Motor 1.5kW (2hp). Electronic Variable Speed. Comes with 4 tool rest, 2 banjos, Vicmarc VM120 chuck and a smaller Nova chuck. Fittings are included for a vacuum chuck as well. These lathes are well known for being the best there is.
Spindle thread M30 x 3.5
Tools: as seen in pic. All 16 larger tools are quality tools HSS from Sorby, P&N or Ashley Isles. There are also 15 smaller tools.
Viking Wet Grinder. What we had before Tormek! An excellent wet grinder for all tools that need sharpening. It also has a smaller Aliminium Oxide wheel which is geared to spin faster than the wet wheel.
The owner was very particular about what he bought (only the best available at the time) and took excellent care of these tools.
Buyer needs to be prepared to move lathe without any help from owner.
$4000 for the lot.
