Superb chris vesper tools marking gauge
Shed Clean out Continues ..
Looking to pass on, a beautiful Australian lace sheoak and brass cutting gauge from Australian toolmaking genius Chris Vesper. In absolutely as-new, unused, condition, I do not have the original box. Chris discovered that the labor required to produce one of these gauges to the standard he demanded made them just economically unfeasible and he has now stopped making them. Chris’ gauges, as are all his layout tools, are elegantly and superbly designed and built to machinist tolerances. This gauge is a beautiful tools that will last many lifetimes, and along with Colen Clenton tools . . . are widely considered the finest blade-type cutting gauges in the world. If you prefer a blade cutter over a disc cutter a la Tite-Mark, and if you want absolutely the very best, then this is a great opportunity to acquire a Vesper cutting gauge in new condition.
Hard to put a price on this given they are not sold anymore,
Selling for $150 includes postage within Australia
Thanks for looking Brenton
