    Default Tanner FS100 wood lathe + P&N tools

    $1000 with stand, tools & accessories.

    Location - Oyster Bay, southern Sydney.

    Tanner FS100 cast iron lathe on metal cabinet stand with the following specifications & accessories -
    This lathe was made in New Zealand and is a very solid and well made machine with gap bed and 1HP 240 volt motor with 5 speed pulleys. It is in very good condition and comes with 4 P&N chisels


    2MT Live and drive centres
    200mm approx cast iron face plate
    Scroll chuck with extra jaws
    Heavy duty tool rest
    Screw chuck
    Speeds - 460, 830, 1250, 2100 & 3100
    1” 10tpi headstock thread. (McJings sell adaptors for M30 x 3.5 etc, for $35 each if needed.)
    Up to 1030mm between centres
    Centre height 165mm, Swing over gap 470mm
    Tailstock travel 75mm
    Lever lock tool rest & tail stock
    Weighs 152KG

    P&N chisels included -
    1” roughing gouge
    3/4” heavy scraper
    Detail gouge
    Skew chisel
    All chisels are close to full original length.

    You will need a ute or trailer. Assistance provided for loading, very easy access. You will need several mates to help unload as it is a very heavy machine.

    I had all sorts of problems creating this advert during the day with very slow responses and long delays when adding one photo at a time.
    It looks like 2 of the photos have disappeared, and I wasn't aware that all the text had also disappeared until notified by NZcarver.

    Smilfe was almost right, there are 3 zero's in the price, but..... they follow the $1

    There was a post by RWbuild earlier today regarding how slowly the forum was responding, hopefully it is fixed now.

    I checked the P&N chisels and need to update the details as follows -

    P&N chisels included -
    1” roughing gouge (25mm)
    3/4” heavy scraper - Actually 18mm x 8mm
    Detail gouge - Actually 12mm spindle gouge
    Skew chisel - Dimensions 18mm x 6mm
    All chisels are close to full original length.

    All chisels have their original plastic 2 part threaded tubes.

    Alan, should you decide to separate the lathe and tools, I'm interested in the P&N roughing gouge.
