A few tools from my workshop
As some of you know, I have been thinning out the tools in my workshop. These are all excellent examples, which will perform superbly. It is just that they are excess to my needs.
1. Starrett Double Square. This is a 6" blade, a vintage example which is accurate, in perfect condition, and just a joy to use. $95
2. Starrett Combination Square. This is a 4" long blade. Perfect for small joinery. It comes with a centre finder. Again, a vintage tool in perfect condition (age marks but no nicks or rust). See if you can find one! $90
3. Japanese Iyoroi Kotenomi (cranked chisel). 12mm blade. This is for paring cuts and fine fitting of joinery. It allows one to get into close spaces, or pare flush with the surface. $65
4. Vintage Japanese Kama-Keshiki morticing gauge. This is smaller than most, being 3 1/2" across the fence. It is able to be used as a single cutting gauge or a double mortice gauge. The only reason I am letting this go is that I have a few others. Originally purchased from So Yamashita (who only sells the good stuff). The single apology is that there is one tiny nail missing from the strap on the beam. This is invisible and does not affect the use in any way whatsoever. $90
The blades are sharp and cut finely ..
5. Modern Japanese Kama-Keshiki morticing gauge. Made by Yubido. Also a small fence at 4". It has recently been sharpened and tuned, and is ready to go. $70
All the above prices are without postage, which I estimate would be around $10 anywhere in Oz.
