Default Two Veritas Items for Sale

    I have a brand-new replacement A2 2" blade with a 50° bevel to suit the smoothing plane.
I have sharpened the blade and flattened the back (not that it needed it) and brought it to a mirror finish.
I only bought this a few days ago and realised only today after I prepared it for use that I bought the wrong size.
I required the one suited for the jack. 50° bevel is used on cranky grain, works like a dream no scraper needed.

    Price $50.00 plus postage

Next item for sale is the Veritas Dual Marking Gauge

My son bought me a new one for my birthday, so I'm selling my old one.
The only thing wrong with it is the allen key nut is rounded, so you can't unscrew it to get the blade out.
It is the one you use to gauge for thicknessing. The other thing you will need to buy separately is a shaft clamp
Designed to fit onto the Veritas dual marking gauge's guide rods, this shaft clamp lets you lock the relative position of the cutters while still being able to freely adjust the fence for offset.
This allows you to preserve identical mortise or tenon sizing when joining parts of different thicknesses or when adding a reveal, since it prevents the cutter settings from shifting while the fence is being repositioned.
For whatever reason, carba tec does not sell them combined, which is ironic since they're crucial to get the maximum performance from the marking gauge.
They're not expensive, around $20 from carba tec. Here is the link: Veritas(R) Shaft Clamp to suit Dual Marking Gauge | Carbatec.

Off topic, please forgive me, nut I would suggest removing bank and name details from this post for your own privacy and safety.

Since the affected poster isn't online, I've reported this post and asked mods to take it down.

NEVER a good idea to put bank account details online.

I'd suggest only providing your bank details to buyers/sellers via PM like everyone else does, rather than on a public forum for everyone to see?

Section1, what Mr Brush and Midnight Man are saying is that you posted your banking details etc here in this thread (that I deleted as soon as it was bought to my attention) rather than via a PM which is what I think you meant to do, but mistakenly posted them in this thread.
    Cheers

    DJ
