Default Vicmark vml 150 used in top condition

Hi and Happy New Year to all and sundry. Hope this may be the lotto one.20180119_080105.jpg

I have for sale my Vicmark VML 150 variable speed, with faceplate, H/D live centre, stainless steel tool rest, and if I can find the original one that as well, knock out bar, H/D drive dog and spanner. My lathe has not seen much use and I mostly made pens on it. It's a lovely machine and oh so accurate. Unfortunately my ute died with a blown head gasket and it's the ute or my lathe. I have to choose my lathe as I need to continue with my therapeutic voluntary work at the RSPCA Wacol otherwise I go nuts (PTSD). (I am not looking for sympathy just giving you the reason for the sale). I have other machines that are awaiting my attention to make the sawdust fly.

Fair price would be $2000. Few odds and sods chucked in as well.

Thanks guys and dolls and now how to find where to place the picture.

ps The lathe is in Redbank Plains, Qld Australia
With kind regards and may the wood chips fly

Its a shame you have to let it go. Excellent lathe, I have the same version of the VL150.

    Good morning all.

Thanks for the kind words. It is a good machine and something I forgot to mention, although an old expression, still very valid. The lathe also has a reverse function which is indispensable as you can fix up any mistakes by just pressing the reverse button and start again.

Hi there again on the beautiful Tuesday morning. Few clouds about and cool. Thank you all for the likes. Seems I'm on the right track with my add. Now the crunch. I need a buyer. Anyone who buys it I will throw in something special. Don't know what yet. Might be a chisel but I would like to keep most of mine as I still wish to turn one day and we all know what they cost or might be a chuck. Please mention to your friend. There is no better buy than Vicmarc. Oops, did I open a can of worms?

Hi again, more photo's for your perusal. Thanks to all you friends for your advice and support. Here's hoping it sells and my ute is back on the road. More good news is that although I am disabled a company is willing to put me on for 20 hours a week. Now how good is that. I don't feel like such a bludger anymore. Wow. 20180123_103712.jpg20180123_103718.jpg20180123_103730.jpg20180123_103739.jpg

You just did it by replying to your own thread. Good luck with the sale as they are a beautiful little lathe.

    URGENT NOTICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have upped the price to $2300 on other sites as I'm throwing in the bench as well. It's a simple bench but works well. I'll post some pictures when I'm back home.
