    Default WADKIN RD 16 inch Planer

    For sale - Wadkin RD Planer
    Blade/cutter head is 16" (inch) 400mm.
    It is a two knife skew cutter head with provision to take moulding/shaping knives which was a special-order cutter head back in the day.
    The knives are brand-new, High-Speed Steel with 18% tungsten.
    It runs extremely well, has a four horsepower 3 phase motor 10amps which is original to the machine.
    This particular machine was manufactured in 1953. It has been restored and is in great working order.
    It does not have a guard fitted. Overall dimensions are: 1900 (l) x 900 (d) x 1000 (h)
    I have a larger machine with a spiral head now, so can't justify the space to keep it any longer.
    Located in MONA VALE NSW 2103.
    I have a forklift at my end, so loading is no issue.

    I have the bits to put together a guard for this machine out there amongst the junk.
    Modelled off the ‘Ideal’ guard made here in Sydney or the Surty original from the US.
    Also got a spare Wadkin RS8 I need to move on.
