    Default Wixey Digital Planer Readout - SOLD

    Hi Guys,
    Cleaning out the workshop the other day and came across this little item. I paid $120 for it some years ago but I'll let it go for $80. It is the model WR-510, reads out in metric, decimals and fractions. It would be used with a thicknesser or a planer or a combination. This ad has also been posted on Gumtree so please let me know if you are interested!

    I did a WIP thread on fitting one of these to a Carbatec 15 inch thicky a few years back if that is of assistance to the buyer. I couldn't find it on a quick search but might be worth a little time to find.
    I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

    Thanks for hunting that up, Dallas. It was good to go back and revisit that build.

    Two and a half years later I am still happy with it as originally installed.

    In fact I still haven't taken the brackets off and painted them like I said I needed to do in one of the final posts.

    That mod made the thicknesser so much more useful and saves heaps of time on setup and test cuts.
