Wooden Smoother and Jack Plane Blades
That is to say - the planes are usually wooden, the blades are, of course laminated steel.
If you have an old woodie and are looking for a replacement blade....
Or if you are considering building your own wooden handplane - jack, smoother or scrub plane.... you might be interested in one of these.
Six of the blades - along the top of the picture are 2-1/4" wide
The bottom blade - on its side - is a smidgen under 2-1/8"
All bar the last one at the top are in good condition and will sharpen up beautifully.
The last one at the top has some shallow pitting and will only be good for scrub plane use in my opinion.
Prices are as follows:
Across the top from left to right
Alex Mathieson 2-1/4" $10
Alex Mathieson 2-1/4" $10
Alex Mathieson 2-1/4" $10
Alex Mathieson 2-1/4" $10
Alex Mathieson 2-1/4" $10
Ward and Payne 2-1/4" $3
Bottom
Ward and Payne <2-1/8" $10
Plus postage

Hey Tom,
I'll take blades 2-5 (4 total) for myself and a friend. We'll probably make some euro beech cambered jacks.
Thanks! I'll PM
