Looks like we have sold off the rest of the gear from the workshop except this lathe.
    Any interest at $100?

I'll take it, provided you can wait a while till I can some arrange transport. What's the 3PH motor HP, lathe length (a 900 or 1100 between centres) and centre height?

The lathe is located an hours drive from me in a workshop I don't have a key for.
I have another photo which may or may not help.
    Model number I've no idea.
Centre height of these lathes is 6" from memory.
    They take 3' tween centres.
HP of motor I didn't check out when last out there.
Prefer to have a local buyer as this is third party to third party if a rucker is being considered.
That being said I may be driving up North to visit my bro in Murbah and could go in the ute if a donation towards the extra petrol over the sedan was on offer.

Do you mean Murwillumbah, if so, yes I'd be in for donation of say $100 towards petrol bringing it back up to $200. If you want to go for local though no problem, just let me know, it was more a case of ensuring it was not scrapped and would make a good lathe for beginner

    Neil,
youve got a deal if the missus is ok.
We acquired a decent sedan from my son a short while back and she said she much preferred it to the ute.
Due to my Daughter having a knee op I think I'll be driving up and back and she will stay to make sure Laura's ok and then fly up. So it'll only be a one way trip home in the ute for her.
She will probably fly to Brissy to catch up with her rellys there so this could work out quite well.

Well done. Great machine, great price. I loved my Woodfast (but love my current lathe more). All good Australian products. Good on you Neil for saving it from the scrap heap. There are lots of potential buyers up here - they can just be a bit slow to act. When I sold my C1000 everyone was coy - until I sold it, then they came out of the woodwork (so to speak).

All good, just let me know what SWMBO says, then advise if you want money transferred etc

That's a great buy, I looked at the ad when it first came on and if I had the room I would have snapped it up. I can always come over Neil for a coffee ..
