    Default Woodturning stuff

    1. Wax bath for sealing green timber - 38cm x 29cm
The best way I know of for doing this. Heat up the paraffin wax till it shimmers and fry, er dunk, your grain ends. Quick and efficient. You can double dip ends larger than the frypan with max wax added.
Genuine Sunbeam lekky frypan plus about 2 kg of spare wax.
$40 pick up only from the north of Melbourne

    2. Face plate for vacuum chuck or just taping or pressing a bowl against to clean up the foot
30x3.5 thread, 40cm diameter. To make a vac chuck glue some copper pipe with a low collar into the hole. This will extend through the spindle. Slide a bearing down that from the outside to butt against the collar, then tape or strap a vacuum cleaner cuff to that. A 3mm hole in the cuff will allow enough air through to keep a domestic vac cool while maintaining enough suction.
    $30 SOLD to quercus

    3. Wagner texturing tool - new
Liven up a boring bowl with knurling around the rim.
    $30 SOLD to quercus

    4. HD round end scraper.
McJing steel. Ideal for finishing small vessels and cleaning up vase rims.
Simply refresh the edge by lapping the top.
Gidgee handle, $30 SOLD to quercus

    5. Henry Taylor small bead tool
Make some clearance with a parting tool and then simply scrape the shape. Easily reproduce a series of spaced evenly shaped beads on a spindle or put a bead on a platter rim.
Ash handle. Lap the top for a fresh edge. A light touch with a fresh edge and a little side-to-side movement can do a clean job.
    $25

Sure quercus. I have some blanks waiting for you too.
So by small scraper do you mean small bead tool? Or the round-end scraper?

Yes, I miss not being able to whip up turnings to fix things but hey ...
