Default Zyliss vise - the original made in Switzerland

I bought this Zyliss vise in 1983. It was the first year of marriage in our new apartment, and I had a small chest with precious tools: jigsaw, drill, chisels, block plane ... and this Zyliss Vise. I could attach the vise to the kitchen table and build all manner of things.

Where ever we went, I took along the Zyliss Vise. Even after I had a proper workshop with a large vise, the Zyliss was so useful. It could hold workpieces at awkward angles, hold saws to sharpen ...

Now it is time to pass it on.

There are imitations available, but this is the original, the true version built in Switzerland. It has all the accessories, including an extension and an adapter that creates a lathe.

Please note that all marks are cleanable. There is no damage, dents, or scrapes. Construction is aluminium.

This is the basic configuration ...

    Or flat panels ...

There is a box of parts ...

Price: $125 (excluding postage - if posting, I would put all into a cardboard box to save costs).

Manual in PDF form attached below.

    Regards from Perth

Well bought Willard, and that is a very fair price. I also bought my Zyliss's in 1983 and they are brilliant. Watch the videos - they are much more versatile than you can imagine.

Hope you haven't made a mistake, Derek. Zyliss drastically reduced their quality about 15 years ago with Asian castings, so the "genuine" ones are now irreplacable.

Thanks Graeme. It was time to pass the Zyliss on to another. I had good use out of it when it was important. Fond memories.
