Default 26.6 Lineal Metres of dressed Curly Qld Beefwood

    I have available rarely seen,

26.6lm of figured Qld Beefwood. Cut in 2004, has been air dried under cover, extremely straight and stable. Nearly all flawless, few natural knots for character. Some have live edging, all pieces have beautiful tight grain and curly figure. Dense timber but polishes up beautifully. Some of the most lovely timber I have come across. Pieces have spirits sprayed on to show colour.

Approx 13 boards total most are 2.3m long x 150-170mm wide and 28-30mm thick dressed both sides.

Was saved to make a table but don’t have time for it now.

    Pick up in Doncaster.

    Asking $950 the lot

I was asking to get a quote from a freight company for the 13 pieces. I am interested in wide boards (~170 mm) and the maximum length Aus Post will take. What have you got?

    Hi Ivor,

I have used e-go in the past for longer boards. I have shipped over 50 items around Australia in the last 5 years and all have been received safe and sound. Delivery from depot to depot is your cheapest option.

This current batch has been all sold but I will have more next weekend. Send me a pm and will keep you posted.

I sent Brandon (Sapherion) a PM as he suggested. Beefwood is my 5-year-old grandson's favorite timber and it is not often available.

Brandon said he was bringing in more of this from storage to dress and sell. I let him know I was happy to dress any I bought myself as I have the gear.

He called me today to invite me to come and pick what I wanted before he dressed the remainder.

I came home with three nice undressed boards on the roof racks and a couple of offcuts thrown in.

I'm very happy with what I brought home and looking forward to seeing the beauty that will be revealed as it is dressed.

    Thanks Brandon.
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.
