    Default (5) Blackbutt (?) planks.

The (5) planks are for sale for $40 as one parcel. They are 180x30x1240mm. I had previously advertised the wood as Australian Teak (Crows ash) on the woodwork machinery Forum outlet. The wood originally had (4) coats of polyurethane when I bought it from a defunct Golf Club who had sold their outside furniture that was in a covered and protected outside area. It was sold as Australian teak. I made (3) outside tables from the purchase and jointed and cleaned up the face of the wood. The planks remaining are seen in the attachments. As a forum member had suggested the wood was not Australian teak, I asked (2) chippies about the species and consensus is that it is a eucalypt and probably Blackbutt as it is not oily enough for teak and that wood does not have gum veins. So I am sorry to have said, as I had genuinely believed that the wood was Australian teak, even though I have been around wood for over 60 years. Nevertheless, the wood is now advertised for sale. Pickup only and cash on collection. Thank you, Drillit.

    Hi Drillit
If you're within reasonable driving distance I'll take it. I'm near Bungendore and drive regularly to Sydney.

If Harry's offer above doesn't work out, I'd like to go "backup" for this, and would be happy to pick these up one afternoon (I am also in Sydney very regularly).
