Anything from 25 x 25 up to 25-30-50 x 150 - 200mm or wider, I prefer min 300mm lengths although I do use standard pen blanks etc. I re-saw for making laminations I then use in spindle turning (spin tops etc) and small bowls. Main concern is safety while re-sawing as I cut quite small pieces using jigs on the band & table saws.

Thicker and wider boards give me more options but they come at a premium & take longer to season, so I'm happy to use the smaller "waste" that flat workers and wood turners don't normally want.

Thank you! Probably don't need 20kg, maybe somewhere around 10, give or take?

    Cheers,

I'd be interested in some box sized pieces too. 3-4-500 mm long by widths anywhere up to as wide as it comes. thickness down to 12-15mm.

    Cheers

Hi all going to work on 80cm2/$1give or take + freight, odd stuff maybe different. Nothing under $15. 5 pen blanks $15/ 25x25x1000mm strip $15, 25x100x1000 $30, 25x150x1000 $40. Will struggle to get turning blanks over 300 without hitting sap wood. Turning bowl blank size worked out on square chunk. Rough weight on dry timber was 1200cm2/kg. Go to transdirect website for quick transport quotes from Airlie Beach QLD4802 (probably others to try too). P.S I struggle for time so it may take a bit of time. I think I worked that out properly bare with me if it's not. Will try put a few photos up of the timber in the next day or so. Cheers
