Photos will not assist ID of wood
You need a leaf of the tree to be sure
The wood was part of a canopy over a bed which I had french polished. The polisher said he couldn't be sure but he thought the wood was TEAK

You will have to take a risk and turn up

no, but it'd give you an idea how it might look in your own project

mate after looking at raw and polished species of native and exotic Timbers for 45 years I reckon a photo would be most useful to me to at least tell you what you’re trying to sell.
    good luck.

For the 2 seconds it will take you to add a photo you're 110% more likely to have someone "just take a risk and turn up"

Chances are what you're selling is not teak, and even if it is being able to eyeball grain and visualise how it will look in a project is 110% more likely to get you a buyer.

Otherwise good luck with getting any interest at all.

I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

I've had the timber 30 years
    Not in hurry to sell
If no interest I'll use it in a pergola.

Timber is dusty and needs to be washed.

Someone coming to inspect will activate me to get it ready.

Get it ready? What for? To build a pergola? Or ready to sell? Just use it in your fireplace.

People would show interest in purchasing if you showed interest in actually selling your product (i.e. uploading a photo when asked).
