    Default Crows Ash Wanted

    Chasing a small quantity of seasoned crows ash for a specialty project. A mix of short boards or pieces not less than 600mm long in 25mm and 40-50mm (or larger) thicknesses would be perfect so that it could be ripped into 25mm and 40-50mm squares. It also needs to be straight grained so nothing please with lots of crazy figure or instability. Happy to swap some cabinet timber such as Qld maple, silky oak, red cedar etc or specialty timber such as gidgee or alternatively happy to pay a sensible price as well if that's preferred.     I once got some particularly nice stuff from Watt's Wood and Mouldings in S. Bris. Tgcreations also had some once, as did MapleMan.

    It's been a couple of years now, and I bought all they had at the time, so this is probably not particularly valuable info, but hopefully it helps some. I also found it on Gumtree a couple of times.

    I probably looked harder for Crow's Ash than anything else when I was in QLD. It's a tough one to find, in my experience.

    Found a couple on Gumtree for you. The top one has a slab of Crows Ash, while the other has about 180 listings.
