Extra wide and dry Tassie Blackwood slabs and boards
Hi all,
I am clearing surplus storage stock and have come across this pack that needs to go.
Milled in 2014 in Tas, was then shipped over and rack stored. Has been air drying ever since. Recently moved from storage to skim dress a few boards to see grain and quality.
These are fantastic dark quality with most boards clean and little to no splits. Wide boards are getting harder to source these days especially with the limitations of logs milled being greatly reduced.
I have 17 slabs and boards total, most with still live edges on them. Moisture currently measures in my workshop at 10.5%.
Perfect for furniture, table tops, resin tops etc
Can inspect and pickup in Doncaster Vic or I can ship whole boards at buyers expense using E-go. I have used these couriers vastly and have never had a problem shipping whole pieces on this forum.
Priced at $8000 per cubic, Please see below for individual cost per board.
The sizes are listed below:
1. 325 x 2450 x 36 (skim dressed) sold
2. 380 x 2450 x 39 (skim dressed) sold
3. 324 x 2450 x 38 (skim dressed) sold
4. 200 x 2450 x 39 (tapered skim dressed) sold
5. 340 x 2700 x 41 rough sawn $316
6. 290 x 2450 x 42 rough sawn sold
7. 330 x 2700 x 30 rough sawn sold
8. 300 x 2700 x 30 rough sawn sold
9. 300 x 2600 x 32 rough sawn sold
10. 320 x 2070 x 38 rough sawn sold
11. 350 x 2070 x 38 rough sawn $212
12. 400 x 2070 x 38 rough sawn $242
13. 470 x 2130 x 41 rough sawn $323
14. 430 x 2050 x 40 rough sawn $274
15. 450 x 2050 x 40 rough sawn $288
16. 470 x 2050 x 36 rough sawn $270
17. 440 x 2450 x 31 rough sawn $267
There’s a fair amount of timber there for any project and I am keen to move it on as space is limited for me.
