    Default Fiddleback & birdseye redgum boards

    Hi all,

    While stacking some timber last week found these nice short boards of fiddleback and birdseye redgum. They all came from a massive redgum salvaged in 2012 at Sutton Grange. Last photo is us setting up to winch the log out of its resting place.

    Boards 1,3,4 and 5 all have some birdseye but it is more prominent in board 5. As with most redgum there are some very tiny pinhole borer holes in parts of the boards but still considered very clean. Board 2 has some minor gum vein but has some beautiful fiddleback. I have tried to photograph the boards on a few angles to show the grain. One face is dressed for show and sizes are written on each piece.
