Highly figured redgum from birdseye log
Hi all,
Found this great piece of amazingly figured redgum cut from a huge birdseye log about 8 years ago that was salvaged after the 2011 floods. The waves are actually from quarter sawn birdseye and this log cut some of the best quality slabs we have ever milled. The last photo shows a dining table being constructed from the same timber.
It has been dressed and edges sawn, measures 225 x 32 x 1000. Only defect is 2 small grub holes and a small edge crack for a few cm as can be seen in the photo's, that's it, rest of the board is superb.
Price is $65 plus postage with AusPost.

Hi Ivor,
Not sure exactly but probably around $20 from previous parcels sent to NSW of that weight. A few nice free offcuts included might make it $30!
Cheers,
James.
