    Default Jarrah Tmiber

I have for sale 8 lengths of dressed Jarrah. Minimum width is 125mm by 40mm thick and 3 metres long.
These were purchased from a Forum member several years ago and have been stored flat, under cover, ever since.
Apparently they came from a very old port vat in Perth and when I got them, the smell of port was still evident.
I had grand plans for their use but no longer need them.
$500 for the lot and pick up in Sunbury.

Looks like beautiful timber, Tom. I got a few staves from a big wine barrel on the marketplace probably 10 or more years ago but yours look like they might be from a different source. The timber in mine is beautiful and the aroma when working this timber can only be described as intoxicating.

I used some of my Jarrah wine barrel for the handles on my workbench, with endcaps made from another wine barrel stave which is French oak.
    Picture below.

I would buy that timber in a heartbeat Tom, but my timber storage is overflowing to the extent it is interfering with my work processes.

    Good luck with the sale.

I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

Doug. I am sure that they came from the same source as yours as they were snapped up very quickly when offered.

    Price drop to $460.
