Outstanding cedar stump slab

I’ll try these here first in the hope a forum member appreciates the rarity. An amazing pair of cedar butt slabs. The smaller slab ranges from 860-700 wide and tapers in thickness from 40mm at the top to 50mm at the bottom. There is an end grain check in the top and bottom per the photo that is tight and in alignment. I’d treat the check with a butterfly key. I’d be happy to include a small piece of ebony for this. The larger slab ranges from 880 to 740 in width and 60mm in thickness at the bottom to 95mm at the top. Both slabs are over 2m in length per the photo. The colour and density is as good as you’ll find being very dark in colour. The large slab is a 2 person lift. Superb quality in an extremely rare size. Asking $800 for the large slab and $500 for the small. If someone can use both then they’re yours for $1000 which is a bargain. If you’ve dreamed of making your own Nakashima table then here’s your chance. If not sold here in a few days I’ll move them on.
