Pen Blanks
The cleanup continues and I found a stack of pen blanks to go.
Maple Silkwood stunningly figured (MSWF). all long ones, 4 @$2 each and 8, 2nds, may have a borer hole, hairline crack or fine lines of fungal decay, $1 each.
Camphor Laurel highly figured but no colour, (CMW) 5 long $2 each and 4 short $1 each.
Queensland Maple stunningly figured (QMPF) 46 long $2 each and 16 short $1 each.
Queensland Silver Ash (QSA) plain white, no blue-stain 20 short $1 each.
Pink Myrtle (PMR) Metrosideros queenslandica a very fine grained hard timber from the rainforest, 5 long $2each and 3 short $1 each.
Black Palm, these are big ugly chunks, not cut by me, careful re-sawing may get 2 pens from each one, 13 @ $3 each and 3, 2nds with cracks @1 each.
