    Default WANTED: S/E QLD buyers to share cube of Huon Pine

    I’m looking for a person or several people to share the cost of buying a m3 of quality Huon Pine and having it shipped up to Brisbane (smaller lots cost more per m3 so a whole cube is the aim). I’ve just been on a quick visit to Tasmanian Native Timbers who have 2 options: 1) a massive figured log with plenty of wide boards possible @ $6500 m3 incl GST. I’m able to afford .4m3 so looking for others who want the rest.

    2) A cube of smaller boards eg 200x28x2.4-2.9 (I’m sure other thicknesses will be available) @$5300m3 incl GST. I’d take 0.5m3 so looking for some one to take the other 0.5. Transport to Bris depot $350-$450.

    If you’re seriously interested let me know NOW as it will be milled in 2-3 weeks so we can specify what thicknesses etc to mill.

    What is I make it $20k a cube like some people have asked for odds and sods of Huon, would that be more appealing?

    Approx 3.5m long. One end is 1.350m widest point x 250x 500mm other end is 1.3m x 300-500-600mm.
