Ah, I'll take a pack. I'm not even planning to turn it anytime soon, but I love having different wood in hand! Will probably have some on display in my classroom. Remind me to get in the shed more.

    Hi Bitslong,

Thanks for your interest in such woods. I will put a pack together shortly.
I have replied to your PM with some vital details I first need from you.

If you are wanting these for display or to show kids, I suggest you fine sand / turn and finish / seal them with lacquer or good finish to reduce finger marks (by kids) and bleaching by light.

    Thanks again and Cheers

Greetings to all who ordered these pen blank packs. I have posted ALL ordered packs today by Australia Post from Warragul Vic, using their 3 kg satchels.
I have receipts & tracking numbers, so will try to send these by emails to each of you.

Thank you all for your interest and orders. I am sure after you have turned & finished these you & others will enjoy the beauty of such woods.
I still have enough for more of these, what I would call, "economy packs" if interested.

In future I will consider what I would call high-end packs with exemplary / outstanding woods, especially for their beauty - COLOUR & FIGURE being the key words. If any of you are interested in these please let me know.

Thank you again and have a happy & safe Christmas

    Eugene

    Hi Don,

    Glad to hear from you.

Yes, I have many more pen blanks available. Accumulated rom years of cutting.
More of the mixed "economy packs" (as described here) at $2 av each, if that is what you want ie $65 posted anywhere for $65.

Alos, as mentioned above, I'm also considering putting together some HIGH END packs at say $5 ea with a focus primarily on COLOUR & FIGURE.
Let me know your wishes address and contacts (address email and mobile) by PM and I will provide payment details.

    All the best,

    Eugene

PS: I return to city for few days so there maybe a few days delays

    Hi OG,

I would pronounce like HUGE without the H (ie the E is silent). Short for Eugene

Since you PM I've been putting aside pieces for you in assorted sizes which are not suitable for pens because of their shape. (Most were kept for jewellery makers and would suit clock makers too.) Colour & Figure is what they are about!

However, I expect to offer more Fancy Pen blanks in limited quantity a few week, if you prefer to wait for these.
As I am away I cant show you these now. Please PM your email and I can send you more detail. Thanks & keep learning new tricks!

    To those still interested......

I can still put put a few ECONOMY packs together. Price is same, $65 for 25 blanks, named & delivered. All interesting & unusual woods, many with nice figure.

As there are few interested in the better HIGH END packs I will start putting these together in early-mid Jan 2019.

Will post pics of these as well. They will be hand-selected for COLOUR & FIGURE

    Cheers Euge
