    Default Old/Recycled timber

    Location is Werribee.

    I've got four lots:

    1. [PENDING] 22 vic ash stair treads - ~800x270x42mm. Beautiful, healthy and straight timber. 5 of these are angled, the rest are just straight treads made out of one piece of timber. Some have holes on one face on both sides near the ends (photo). Most of the thickness is usable because they're pretty straight.
    $250

    2. ~110 lengths of ~500-1100 (mostly 900)mm, 32x32mm vic ash sticks. These are new timber, and I kept them undercover but a part of the roof blew off while I was away so they've got some staining from the rain and some have grey ends. Very straight and easy to work with, dry. I've mostly made chopping and serving boards from them, easy to laminate.
    $30

    3. Blackbutt (most likely). These are 3000-3600mm long, 220mm wide and 45mm thick, 4 pieces plus some offcuts. Table in the photo is made from them. Unfortunately, these have some splits along them so there's no table left in them. Maybe a smaller project or at the very least, a few bags of solid firewood.
    $50

    4. [PENDING] Vic ash - ~1800x140x28mm, ~45 lengths. I've kept them undercover but the previous owner didn't, so they've got some splits on the ends and some are just not in good condition overall. There's a lot of timber here though, so if you're willing to put in the work into machining them, there's a good couple of projects in them. The vanity in the photo is made (mostly) out of these.
    $100

    Too far from me too.

Igalic, you should post the size of the stair treads, they look small in the pictures, but I'll bet they're not.

    Interested in this lot.

I will take it - subject to confirmation of dimensions - thickness, width and an indication of average lengths please.

Lot 1 is now in my shed.

Thanks Ivan. The timber is indeed as beautiful as you described.

Good luck with your relocation. It was a pleasure meeting you.

Thanks Doug, it was great meeting you too. I'd love to see what you end up making out of the timber

    Thanks again Ivan.

I have a few ideas of what I wanted to do with the timber but it's just so nice. It might be a waste making shed storage rolling cabinets with drawers out of it but then again just because it is for the shed doesn't mean it needs to be ugly. Whatever it eventually turns into, it probably won't be this side of Christmas. Just too much happening this time of year.

Thank you all, the timber has now been sold. Except for the last lot but looks like there's no interest so I'll just make it into firewood.

I don't know how to mark the thread as sold, it's not letting me edit the original post
