Red Cedar, Rosewood, Camphor, Silky Oak
I have mainly Red Cedar with some Camphor, Rosewood and Silky Oak, for sale. The cedar is mainly in large sections 80mm to 200mm thick as I brought it mainly for carving (arthritis in thumbs has put an end to that), it is all old growth, very good colour and quality. I also hove loads of off cuts for a few dollar each, to many to list. (I can show photos of some things made from it if required) It has been stored dry in my garage for over 10 years and is located in Freshwater on the Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Please see photos for sizes and prices.
regards
Bill

I can’t be 100 percent certain but when I brought it 10 years ago I was told it was NSW rosewood from the far nth coast of NSW.

Yes Roy that sounds fair. The only thing is I’m going away next Saturday for a week. I will send you a private message with my phone number if you want to discuss a suitable pickup time.

Hi fisherman / Bill, I can use off cuts as small as 40 x 40 x 40mm. I’ve never carved Australian Red Cedar before but heard it’s pretty good. Can we organise a big postage bag of offcuts to Yarram 3971 Victoria?

If you can organize and pay for it I'm happy to fill a bag with some.

That would be wonderful thank you! I think the best way would be to mail you a pre paid Aus’ Post satchel with my address on it, then all you’d have to do is fill it with offcuts and post it back to me if that’s ok with you? If you could Private Message me with your address I’ll get things started.
