Default Red cedar slab - Sydney NSW

I bought this slab over 5 or 6 years ago for a project. The project is no longer happening so am selling it.

When I bought it, I understood it was least 10 years old so it’s dry.

Dimensions are approx 850 mm on the shortest side and 560 mm wide. The thickness varies from approx. 45 mm down to 25 mm in one corner. Flattening both sides should yield a final overall thickness of approx 30 mm. Would make a nice one-piece top for say a coffee table.

There are a couple of splits on the underside, but they don’t go all the way through.

The previous owner or someone apparently tried to flatten one side of the slab with a router, but given the marks it seems they didn’t use a proper router sled and then gave up??

The slab is being sold on a pick-up basis only with pick-up from St Ives NSW.

    Price $135
