Default Silver Ash: Free and Sell

I've cut a large Silver Ash a few days ago and am sawing it up at the moment. I have plenty of left over pieces that I'm happy to give away. Naturally I have some boards to sell as well.

I'm pretty sure Bob is in the Gympie area.

I'd be interested in the timber too, photos and dimensions please.

Hi David, I'm not Bob who seems to be away or busy.

    May I answer your question?
Silver Ash and Crows Ash belong to same Family and Genus (Flindersia) but are different species. Flindersia bourjotiana and F. australis, respectively.

Silver Ash is a white, dry wood whereas Crows Ash is yellow denser and greasier with a finer texture IMO.
Both are well known and well used woods in Qld. Bootle provides more information.

    Cheers, Euge
