    Default Sydney NSW AUST RED CEDAR & AUST ROSEWOOD

    Due to failing eye sight, my 93 year old friend has had to give up his woodwork hobbies.

    He has a large quantity of a various types of timber which has been stored in timber racks in his workshop for 20 plus years. It is located in St Ives which is about 20 km north of the Sydney CBD.

    I am helping him sell the timber and so far we have pulled out some Australian red cedar and Australian rosewood most of which is rough sawn - uses could include boxes, woodturning blanks and small furniture items.

    I have updated the post as a few pieces have been sold and we have found some more Australian rosewood.
