Timber Panels
I have 5 panels which I have been hoarding for over 20 years so it is time for them to go.
They have the colour and appearance of cedar, possibly WRC but I cannot guarantee that.
They are 1050mm long by 400mm wide and 30mm thick. One has a split at one of the laminations but it should be repairable.
$25 each for the 4 good ones, $20 for the split one or $110 for the lot. Prefer to sell as one lot.
Collect from Sunbury or I can help with delivery to Essendon or Coburg areas and places in between.

Give em a sniff after you plane a bit off. You'll know pretty quick if they're western red cedar.

Looks like Californian Red Pine . Heaps was bought into Melbourne last century and is found in plenty of houses and furniture after 1860.
Exactly what tree it was or came from can get a bit confusing I think.
I found this first link below. Which may be right.
Redwood and cedar are similar but Redwood has the deep red colour like in those boards. And it shows up all the time in house wreckers yards and Aussie furniture as a secondary timber. The Western Red Cedar you see in saunas and window and door construction from last century like the 1980s isn't the same . Close but different.
Some more links.

Thanks Auscab, I think you might be on the money as it looks very much like the timber in your links.
I planed an edge and there was no distinctive smell so not WRC. It was soft and planed very easily.

I have added a photo of the planed edge and shavingsTom
