The Sizes and What Is.... what....
OK, here we go.
I've separated them into FOUR piles.
PILE 1
-- Common merbau decking
-- Nothing special
-- All 90 wide, except for 2 pieces*
-- 900 long x 13*
-- 1200 long x 8
-- 1500 long x 28
PILE 2
-- Red Gum
-- My premium, hand picked, pile-o-scabbed-over fence paling's
-- Chosen from amongst 3 giant stacks. I was Mr Popular that day!
-- 1500 long x 15
-- Dry, clear, beautiful, dark, rich and red
-- May be "fence palings" but by golly are they nice!
PILE 3
-- Rose She Oak (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
-- 2600 long x 160 wide x four (4)
-- 3000 long x 190 wide x one (1)
-- 30mm thick
PILE 4
-- The fabled River Oak
-- Dry As F
-- Full of character
-- Limited end checking, all sealed Way Back When
-- All 3000 long
-- Range between 26mm and 30mm thick
-- 75 x 35 three (3)
-- 75 x 75 four (4)
-- 100 wide fourteen (14)
-- 150 wide twenty five (25)
-- Two of the 150's have checked ends. Goes about 100mm. Pix look worse than reality. Can be seen in pix.
Pricing..... well, I want it gone as I'm moving (story in other sales ads) and while I'd keep my left one to retain it... it cannot be done
Pile 1 - $50
Pile 2 - $50
Pile 3 - $500
Pile 4 - $2300 (at $50 a board. 46 boards...)... buuuuutttttttt I'd look at $1600
The first two are really just pie and pizza money. The 3rd, well, that's my precious.... Pile 4.... sheeeeeet... that was going to be something truly holy.
* I don't know the cube rate, I haven't managed to get to that yet
A scan left to right.... pile order, left to right, is merbau --> Red Gum --> RSO --> RO

Wattyco - cheapest is $180 - 300x20x20 at 100kg using their large/heavy freight option via E-go. Transdirect is $377 (!). 2607-->2350 Armidale.
This rose is very bloody heavy stuff. I can wrap and strap no problem, but I'll want to drop them a query beforehand to ensure that a pickup is OK....if not, I can drop them to the depot (Mitchell) but its a fairly decent drive.
Yoboseyo - see you in the morning!

This is what's left.....
PILE 1
-- Common merbau decking
-- Nothing special
-- All 90 wide, except for 2 pieces*
-- 900 long x 13*
-- 1200 long x 8
-- 1500 long x 28
------> Its a good stack of usable lengths for boxes, crates, chests and whatnot. For $50... FIFTY BUX you get a good pile. Putting up a new picture soon to show it sorted or ordered.
-----> $1 a piece.... sheeez

PILE 4 - RIVER OAK (mag.Nifi.Cent!)
-- All 3000 long (actually 3100)
-- Range between 26mm and 30mm thick
-- 75 x 35 three (3)
-- 75 x 75 four (4)
-- 100 wide fourteen (14)
-- 150 wide twenty five (14)
The 75x75's are EXCELLENT for turning and legs on tables, etc. The 75x35's are wonderful for drawers, runners, carving and display works.
----- ONLY $50 a piece.......FIFTY BUX.Last edited by woodPixel; 13th July 2019 at 08:45 PM. Reason: updating numbers

An update on the Rose Sheoak.... Pile 3
I went and measured it carefully as its important to get it right for buyers who are shipping (nearly froze to death doing it though).
-- FIVE pieces
-- 190 x 3200 and 17.1kg
-- 165/155/150/145 x 2700 and 11/10/10/10kg
-- All 26mm nominal
EDIT: Still SOLD to Wattycoo.
THE REST .... my wonderful generous... rich... woodworking friends.... there is a LOT of the River Oak left. I'll polish up a piece tomorrow to relive the sceptics of their .... scepticism... and cash
