Ultra fine grained fiddleback redgum
Hi all,
I have 4 pieces of very fine grained fiddleback redgum. They were milled from a salvaged tree in Charlton, Victoria in 2007, hence racked and dried for 12 years. The fiddleback is the tightest wave I have seen in redgum in 20 years of milling and timber from this log has been used for jewelry boxes, musical instruments, pens and the like.

Each piece is 520 x 130 x 25, dressed one face only.
$25 per piece, all are the same amazing quality.
(Now is case you are wondering why I am selling some small pieces when we have a shed full of timber, it is a project for my 8 and 11 year old daughters. I made a deal with them that if they helped sweep up the shed, wrapped the timbers up, wrote out the addresses and posted them they can have half the money. I am trying to teach them by putting in a bit of effort after school they can earn some dollars for their effort and save for something special they will appreciate the value of. It also gets them hands on with timber at an early age and in the shed with dad for a few hours. So if you all see a few little bits and pieces pop up for sale, that is why.)
Cheers,
James

Hi all,
The 4 boards are sold to Ian and jw2373, thanks. I can get some more from the shed if anyone is interested, just PM me. I can see the kids wanting to cut my whole shed into 500mm pieces now!
Cheers,
James
