Default Want to buy brass screws

Hi all, I need 20 off 3/16” BSW x 2” long brass round head screws. I certainly don’t mind paying the $1+ per screw asked by Blackwoods etc but I stumble at the thought of having to buy a minimum of 200!
Can someone supply as above OR direct me to someone who will supply the small quantity?

I have bought traditional style brass screws from Paddington Hardware in the past. Paddington Hardware
I cannot comment on the size you want as BSW 2 inches etc means little to me, I just like the look of the brass screws.

Yes, when I first looked, it advised $4.50 each but then.......... 90c each
Initially it was a few dollars to post unless I picked up from one of their stores
Their closest store is about 5 km away!

    Thankyou everyone and especially Elan

For what it's worth, they were listed at $4.50 when I initially loaded the page too.

A quick refresh bought it to $0.90

    Wierd!

Well, we WERE in Rutherglen quite recently, and we did pause for refreshment(s)(s)(s)(s) which of course leads to takeaway(s)(s)(s)(s) (and I happen to know he has some "almost" left) so "losing it" is to be expected anticipated.

Good job Elan! Would you believe we called into said establishment a couple of weeks ago to pick up something else unrelated and, yup, someone there knew him.

FYI I have a big heap of brass screws for sale at much more reasonable prices than above. All new old stock from the 60's and 70's, good quality stuff mostly in original boxes of 200 per box.

Plain brass and even Nickel plated brass. 1/8" BSW, 3/32", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16 and 3/8 and 1/2" BSW threads. Some wood screws as well.
All slotted drive. Mostly dome head or countersunk head up to 1/4" dia. Then mostly hex head in the larger sizes.

Email me: cv 'at' vespertools.com if you want to know more, or my phone number is on my website.
I haven't got a comprehensive list ready to go of what's available sorry but email me what you want and I'll dig it up and give you a price. Shipping cost of heavy brass screws is more the fun killer here.

Quality remains, and the cost is soon forgotton.

Hi Chris, thank you very much but I seem to have solved my immediate issue. I will however come straight to you next time and will give the same advice to others.
