2 x MARS200 MIG/MAG Welders - $200 ono as is (never actually used)
Even though this should go in the metalworking forum, I'm listing this here first as I know many have cross over hobbies and may be interested.
I have 2 x 200A MIG/MAG welders I'm selling as one lot. Long story short I bought one of these early on before I discovered the power cabling limitations of our place, so didn't get to use it at the time, but as I'm a tinkerer, I opened it up to have a look at the construction, and found one of the panel screws was actually touching the board. As it was fairly expensive I contacted the seller, and it was arranged to buy another, and then credit the first. Then the troubles of returning the first started, and as some time had passed I found I now had 2 welders I couldn't use until we rewired.
One is still in the original carton, but I don't know which one needed the panel screw filed back as I don't know if the one in the carton was the newer one or the first one going back.
Exact same model as this one, I'm selling both for $150 ono together as is, (my reasoning that even if both are toast the cabling and connectors are worth something, and scrap value on the copper would be good):
New MARS 200Amp MIG/MAG Welder GAS & GASLESS | eBay
I say as is because I can't really test them in any meaningful way, but the unpackaged one seemed to power on fine and they have never been used, just sitting collecting dust in the shed. These are VERY heavy, I'm guessing they have monstrous transformers inside. No other bits are supplied, just the units and all the cabling/connectors as shown. I don't know if there's any extra bits inside the crate, as it's too heavy to lift out to check.
Pickup from near Mulgrave or Richmond depending on day/time.

Last call for $100 for BOTH MIG welders!
I powered up the one not boxed and it lights up fine, and the gun trigger works fine with the spool motor feed.

No problem aaargh.
Ps, i suspect that 2300 price means "im temporarily out of stock but i don't want to take the listing down..."

Hi Hoey, as I said at the top, I don't know if the one in the crate was the new replacement, or the one that was to go back for a credit as the screw from the cover plate was touching the pcb (I think it still powered up fine but it's so long ago I'm not 100% sure, especially as I never ended up using either of them at all).
cheers, Ian
