    Default Apple MacBook Pro 15”: i7 2.9/3.8Ghz, 16GB, 1TB SSD, Radeon Pro 460 4Gb

    I'll put this on scumtree shortly, but thought I'd see if anyone here needs a powerful laptop at a decent price.

    Every few years I buy the highest configuration MacBook available. You’ll see the spec of this machine is way above most of the machines available second hand in this price range – top spec CPU, lots of RAM and storage, fantastic Retina screen and dual graphics cards.

    It is unmarked - it’s lived in a hard shell all its life and is in full working order – only for sale as I’ve just upgraded again (when the taxman offers, we must take. The blighter doesn’t often give).

    Some of these MacBook pro’s had keyboard issues, so I took it in right at the end of the AppleCare warranty, and had the keyboard replaced (it was fine, but… as the battery and keyboard are all part of the same chunk of case, when you get a new keyboard, you get a new battery too. #winning)

    Running the latest MacOS Big Sur, supplied with a clean install (I'm part of the Apple beta program, so happy to leave the latest version of MacOS on the machine, or roll it back to the non-beta Big Sur).

    I’d prefer local pickup so you can see what you’re getting and confirm condition, but happy to post at cost (insured) once cleared payment received.

    Not available to the sons/daughters/nieces/cousins of deposed Nigerian finance ministers.

    Happy to answer questions. I believe I’ve priced it very fairly for the spec and condition, compared to what else is available on the Scumtree. It’s a lot of computer for not much money.
